SC Cleared Service ArchitectLondon, England (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Service Architect to support key government programmes, responsible for designing, governing, and maintaining high-quality service models aligned to the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and Enterprise Architecture (EA) standards.

Working within a federated environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish robust CMDB practices, service mapping, and dependency models. You will play a key role in improving data quality, governance, and ensuring service data remains accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver scalable CSDM-aligned service models, maintaining CMDB governance including policies, standards, and controls.
  • Lead service mapping across business and technology layers, defining end-to-end relationships and dependencies.
  • Align service models with EA standards and roadmaps, engaging stakeholders to drive adoption of best practice.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CMDB, embedding service modelling into agile delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across service architecture, CMDB, and service data governance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Architect (or similar) within complex enterprise environments, with strong CSDM service modelling expertise.
  • Experience in CMDB design, governance, and administration, alongside service mapping and dependency modelling.
  • Ability to operate within federated organisations, influencing stakeholders and driving best practice adoption.
  • Experience implementing data quality frameworks and governance controls within agile delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of service modelling frameworks, Enterprise Architecture principles, and CMDB platforms (e.g. ServiceNow).
  • ITIL (ideally ITIL 4), ServiceNow CIS, TOGAF (or similar), SC Clearance
