CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

Supreme Surface Treatment Engineering is a small, family‑run manufacturing company and a leading supplier to the anodising, electroplating, metal treatment, and powder‑coating industries. We specialise in bespoke jigs, racking systems, baskets, heaters, coils, and precision‑engineered components, using the latest CAD/CAM technologies to support customers across the aerospace, automotive, agriculture, and food industries.

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and complex blueprints
• Set, program and operate CNC machinery to meet production specifications
• Load and unload castings and raw materials safely
• Carry out quality inspections using appropriate measuring tools
• Complete work accurately with minimal supervision
• Maintain clear and accurate production notes and reports
• Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator
• Strong understanding of basic mathematics
• Ability to meet production targets and quality standards
• Confident working from technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and problem‑solving skills

Working Hours

• 40‑hour week (Day Shift)
• Monday–Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm

• £14.00 – £16.00 per hour depending on experience
• 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
• Christmas shutdown
• Overtime rates: x1.3 Monday–Friday, x1.5 Saturdays (if applicable)
