Job Description

Global Investment Research (GIR) produces analytically ambitious research with out-of-consensus conclusions in a fast-paced environment. Analyst teams cover 3,000 securities and 50+ global economies to deliver client-focused research in the equity, fixed income, currency and commodities markets.

Role & Responsibilities

In partnership with analyst teams, Research Management, Legal & Compliance and other stakeholders, the Supervisory Analyst helps manage the reputational risk of investment research by ensuring that it is accurate, compliant and commercial.

  • Oversee the end-to-end review and production lifecycle of investment research, from submission through to global distribution, while contributing to strategic initiatives such as systems development and guideline enhancement.
  • Partner with analysts to ensure research meets commercial, regulatory, and firm standards, providing expert guidance on policies and publication requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence by adopting new digital and AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows and enhance research delivery.

  • Education, Certification & Editing Expertise
    • Bachelor’s degree required; willingness to obtain FINRA Series 16.
    • Demonstrated strong editing skills, including refining content authored by non-native English speakers, and sound understanding of standard accounting concepts.
    • Prior research experience desirable but not essential.
  • Market Knowledge & Analytical Mindset
    • Genuine interest in financial markets and investment research, strong attention to detail, ability to balance precision with commercial judgement.
  • Technical Proficiency & Digital Agility
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and comfort adopting new digital and AI-enabled tools.
  • Collaboration & Professional Drive
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while working effectively with global stakeholders.
