Role Overview
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a proactive Nanny / House Manager to join a warm, country-loving family on their stunning historic estate in North Warwickshire. This unique live-in role offers the chance to work within a truly special home, combining family support with hands‑on household management.
Responsibilities
- Support two girls aged 3 and 5, managing their daily routines including school runs, activities, and bedtime.
- Oversee family laundry, meal planning, and the organisation of their belongings, while planning engaging, age‑appropriate activities and outings.
- Work closely with the family and existing estate staff to manage the smooth running of a large property.
- Oversee household systems, maintain spaces, monitor supplies, coordinate with cleaners, and assist with the management of an on‑site holiday let.
- Support guests, maintain formal rooms, and ensure exceptional care of valuable interiors and artefacts.
- Act as a warm, hospitable presence during events and guest stays.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years experience working with children.
- Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate, 12‑hour paediatric first aid certificate.
- Two professional referees, one current or last employer, both immediately contactable.
- Own car required; preferred.
- Professional nanny insurance recommended.
- Organised, detail‑focused, confident, and capable of working independently while being team‑friendly.
Work Conditions
Location: North Warwickshire. Accommodation: private 3‑bedroom flat with own entrance, kitchen, living room with wood burner and bathroom.
Hours: 9 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
Job Start Date: July 2026.
Employment type: Permanent.
Compensation and Benefits
Annual pay: £29,250 gross.
Benefits: wood, groceries, game meat from estate.
