Specialty Doctor, General Adult Inpatients – Blackpool (10 PA)

We are excited to advertise this full time (10 PA) Specialty Doctor post in General Adult Psychiatry to work on our Inpatient wards at The Harbour, Blackpool. The post is full time 10 PA (40 hours) per week and substantive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical input to the General Adult wards, including direct care.
• Offer advice and consultancy for other members of the team.
• Work under the support of a Consultant Psychiatrist.

Key Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in psychiatry.
• Fully registered with the GMC and holding a licence to practice.
• Section 12 approval required; if not already approved, must be eligible for approval within 3 months of commencement (i.e. 4 years of experience in Psychiatry including 8‑12 months UK psychiatry experience).
