Overview
North London NHS Foundation Trust – North Camden Community Team (NCCT) supports the mental health and emotional well‑being of children and young people (0‑18 years) in Camden. NCCT follows the Thrive model of service delivery and provides consultation, assessment, therapy and training based on evidence‑based practice.
Team
NCCT is a multidisciplinary team that includes Child Psychotherapy, Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology, CBT, Family Therapy, and Psychiatry. The team works closely with schools, local authority and voluntary sector partners.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence‑based, complex interventions within a multidisciplinary team.
- Formulate and deliver specialised programmes of care.
- Act as the linked CAMHS clinician to a secondary school, up to one day per week, and provide regular consultation support to primary schools.
- Contribute to service development projects such as patient and public involvement and equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Be prepared to work at different locations within Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington as required.
Qualifications
Applications are welcomed from trainee psychologists in their final year of training. Experience working in CAMHS is essential.
