Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic hand highly motivated Radiology Staff Nurse to join the Nursing Team within the Radiology Department at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a bright intelligent committed nurse, to assist in the running of our Nursing Services. The role of Staff Nurse will be to be a clinical nurse working with and in our Radiology nursing team to ensure the patients have good and timely care. The area is busy with a variety of interventions on a daily basis. We have a number of procedures which we assist the doctors within our rooms. The focus of this role is to work clinically with the team and to ensure the day to day running of the workload is done well, and the patients attending are admitted cared for and discharged in a supportive environment.

You will work across CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and Breast Imaging and the nature of your work will be varied. You will also have an advocate/chaperone role on behalf of both the patient and staff during intimate or invasive procedures. Candidates should have a flexible approach to changing patterns of work.

Applicants should have good keyboard skills and preferably experience in using basic computer packages, including hospital systems.
