Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients with haematological and oncological conditions.
- Administer SACT, immunotherapy, blood and blood products in line with local and national policies.
- Assess, monitor, and manage treatment‑related side effects, including acute oncological emergencies.
- Perform venepuncture, cannulation, and central venous access device (CVAD) care (e.g., PICCs, ports).
- Provide holistic assessment, symptom management, and patient education.
- Act as a clinical role model, maintaining high standards of infection control and medicines management, people and vulnerable adults.
