Applications are invited for the post of a full-time clinical teaching and simulation fellow with responsibilities in leading & co-ordinating undergraduate medical educational activities and postgraduate simulation. This is a 12 months fixed-term educational role ideal for those interested in furthering their medical education capabilities and proficiency in simulation-based Medical Education. You will be part of a team Clinical Teaching Fellows (CTFs), leading in postgraduate simulation and also undergraduate curriculum and assessment delivery for University College London Medical School (UCLMS) students.
This role supports the delivery of high-quality medical education through coordination, supervision, and curriculum development across undergraduate and postgraduate training. Key responsibilities include organising the Induction sessions and teaching for UCL medical students and working with junior doctors, consultants, and the Simulation Lead to plan and deliver simulation training for Foundation, Internal Medicine, and Paediatric trainees. The post holder will contribute to reviewing and improving simulation scenarios, and collaborate with the Sim Lead to enhance undergraduate clinical skills training. Will provide pastoral and academic support to students, liaising with educational supervisors, and supervising junior educators to develop their teaching and simulation skills. Additional duties involve leading and coordinating activities aligned with UCLMS requirements, supporting students, and organising formative and summative assessments (CPSA).
