Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans
- Provide clinical leadership and direct nursing care during night shifts
- Administer medications safely in line with NMC guidelines
- Monitor residents’ health and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
- Supervise and support care staff, including mentoring junior team members
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure dignity, respect, and safeguarding are upheld at all times
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
- Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is desirable
- Strong clinical skills and sound knowledge of nursing practices
- Good communication and leadership abilities
- Commitment to high standards of care and continuous improvement
