Can you demonstrate where you have challenged, reshaped or improved a cost estimate on a major programme and influenced senior stakeholders to change direction as a result?
Have you acted as the estimating or project controls authority for a complex programme, ensuring consistency, governance and integration across multiple work packages or contractors?
How would you like to apply your estimating expertise on a once in a generation infrastructure programme that will have a lasting impact on the UK’s energy future?
This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK’s most significant and complex infrastructure programmes, created by continued expansion and long‑term investment in nationally critical, low carbon energy delivery. You will play a senior, influential role within an integrated project controls function, supporting a multibillion‑pound construction programme and shaping how estimating insight drives decision making at programme and board level. Working within a mature, highly regulated project environment, you will act as a subject matter expert for Estimating and Integrated Project Controls, partnering closely with programme leadership, contractors and risk teams. In return, you will benefit from long‑term career progression, exposure to landmark engineering delivery, flexible working options and an industry‑leading benefits package including enhanced parental leave, private healthcare and funded professional development.
You will be embedded within a large, multi-disciplinary programme team delivering a nationally important infrastructure asset. The environment is technically complex, highly regulated and fast paced, with strong emphasis on safety, governance, collaboration and professional integrity. Flexible and hybrid working options are supported, alongside a culture that values inclusion, continuous improvement and long‑term career development.
