Plumbing and Gas Engineer | Newcastle Area (45-minute radius) | Full Time | Working hours are 8 am–5 pm, Monday to Friday | £37,000 starting (review at 6 months) – up to £42,000

Our client is a long-established, reputable plumbing, heating and gas services provider with over 25 years of trusted experience supporting homes and businesses across the North East.
They’re a tight-knit, highly skilled team known for reliability, quality workmanship and a genuine commitment to customer care. As a Gas Safe registered business accredited with leading boiler manufacturers, they deliver everything from everyday plumbing to complex heating installations — all to consistently high standards.
What will your role look like?
- Working across client sites around Newcastle and surrounding area
- Installing, servicing and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems
- Completing general plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Supporting first- and second-fix bathroom installations
- Assisting with larger projects such as new builds and plant room installs
- Moving between several jobs per day in a fast-paced environment
- Representing the business with excellent customer service and professionalism
Are you the right person for the job?
You’ll be a reliable, experienced Gas Engineer who takes pride in their work and delivers excellent customer service. You should be:
- Experienced in domestic gas installation, servicing and repairs
- Skilled in general plumbing with strong fault-finding ability
- 5+ years post-apprenticeship
- Qualified with CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
- A Full UK Driving Licence holder
- Professional, punctual and presentable
- Able to manage your day efficiently while working across multiple jobs
- A good communicator and strong team player
- Preferred: CSCS card
