Fire Suppression Engineer – London & Surrounding Areas
The Role
As a Fire Suppression Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of a range of fire suppression systems across high‑profile sites. This role involves working in complex environments such as data centres, so previous experience in similar settings is highly desirable. The position is field‑based, with a strong technical and administrative component. A significant portion of the daily duties will involve using a laptop for reporting, documentation, and system‑related tasks, so strong IT skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, service, and maintenance of fire suppression systems
- Working across large‑scale sites, including data centres
- Completing detailed digital reports and documentation
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
- Ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards
- Liaising with clients and internal teams in a professional manner
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire Suppression Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems (essential)
- Good IT skills and experience using laptops for reporting
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel across London and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
