I'm recruiting for a tech start-up in Cheltenham that is growing its R&D and engineering team following a successful period. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop and test the products used in surveillance, security and telecoms.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and test products for surveillance, security and telecoms in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD using Solidworks
• Strong prototyping skills (e.g., 3D printing)
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Analysis/simulation skills
• Exposure to extreme/harsh environments or safety‑critical industries

The work is 100% on‑site in Cheltenham but the company can offer flexibility with hours to suit personal situations.
