My client is on the lookout for an Electrical Engineer join the team. They are a modern retail and e-commerce business who are looking for an electrically bias Maintenance Technician to carry out PPM within their warehouse facility based in Bradford.
Key Responsibilities – Electrical Engineer
- Maintain equipment such as balers, compactors, roller shutter doors and canteen equipment.
- Sprinkler system – maintenance and repair of sprinklers and associated equipment.
- Fire alarms testing, testing and repair of emergency lighting and portable appliance testing.
- Maintain and update records in a timely manner.
- Efficiently manage breakdowns, diagnose faults and carry out repairs quickly and efficiently on site equipment to minimise production losses.
- To carry out repairs and maintenance of ventilation and air conditioning plant (excluding the refrigeration component).
- To undertake first response to fire alarms (Full training given on site).
- On call 1 week in 5 (building maintenance).
Qualifications & Experience – Electrical Engineer
- Recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering, preferably with Mechanical experience.
- City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering (Course 2380 18th Edition) or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in installation, fault finding and repair of electrical equipment in an industrial/ commercial environment.
On Offer – Electrical Engineer
- £40K
- On call (standby payment – £25 days/£50 weekend), when called out = x1.5
- Late shift – 12pm – 8pm (client can be flexible on start and finish time, etc 10am – 6pm) First 6 months will be starting on days
- 29 days holiday + bank holidays (option to buy more holiday)
- Annual bonus
- Pension matched up to 5%
