Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer
Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | Competitive Pay (DOE)
We're working on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking organisation seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with both electrical and mechanical expertise to play a key role in maintaining and improving operational equipment.
Role Overview
In this hands‑on position, you'll be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of systems and equipment. The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and supporting ongoing improvements to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reactive and proactive maintenance on operational equipment
- Carry out installations, modifications, and system upgrades
- Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs and calibrations
- Work closely with external contractors when required
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
Requirements
- Valid and up‑to‑date DBS check
- City & Guilds 2330 Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Proven experience in a facilities or mobile maintenance environment (preferred)
- Strong fault‑finding skills across both electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
