Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will work across foodservice, hospitality, and food & drinks retail, maintaining and repairing a wide range of chilled and frozen display and storage assets for a diverse portfolio of blue‑chip clients. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety and working with high‑quality commercial equipment.
Role Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs
- Ensure all work meets industry regulations and internal safety standards
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding work completed and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in an on‑call rota as required
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must hold a current, valid F‑Gas Certificate (applicants without this will not be considered)
- The ideal applicant will possess 10 years+ experience working in the commercial refrigeration sector, specifically within restaurants and hospitality environments
- Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems in the foodservice/retail sector
- Professional, reliable, and capable of high performance, even during peak summer periods
- Full UK driving licence
