This company is an Approved Body for Machinery with over 30 years of experience in machinery safety. They are UKAS accredited and provide certification and compliance services, with a strong reputation for technical excellence and developing their engineers. This role would suit someone with strong experience in machinery safety, CE/UKCA compliance, and manufacturing environments who is looking to take the next step in their career.

The role

• Machinery safety inspections across a range of industries
• Providing technical support in safe machine design
• Supporting CE and UKCA marking requirements
• Drafting and reviewing technical files
• Delivering machinery safety training to customers
• Supporting accreditation and compliance activities

The Person

• Experience with machinery safety and compliance in manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of CE/UKCA requirements and standards (including C‑type standards advantageous)
• Mechanical Engineering degree (electrical knowledge beneficial)
• Hands‑on engineering experience (design, maintenance, or similar)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
