Responsibilities
- This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).
- Design and implement research solutions.
- Conduct evaluations and/or user studies to validate the effectiveness of the algorithms and tools.
- Write and publish research papers and present them to reputable academic conferences.
- Package the documents, implementation code, evaluation results of the project for public release.
- Liaise with other team members of this project to realize the overall goal of the project.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a reputable institution.
- Publication of at least two first-authored paper in a top AI or software engineering conferences/journals (SCIS A*).
- Excellent knowledge about software engineering and artificial intelligence.
- Highly fluent in Python and Java.
- Competent in designing and implementing algorithms and data structures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent analytical, technical and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members.
- Able to work under strict deadlines.
- Research capability as evidenced by tangible deliverable i.e., at least 2 first-authored paper in SCIS A* conference/ journal in the field of AI or software engineering.
