We’re partnering with an established and growing, engineering-led manufacturing business that is looking to hire an Electronics Project Engineer to support both new and existing product development. This is a hands‑on, end‑to‑end role where you’ll take ownership of projects from initial concept through to production, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electronics development projects from specification through to final release
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing partners, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements
- Provide regular updates and communicate progress to key stakeholders
- Support the setup, maintenance, and improvement of test equipment, including jigs and fixtures
- Test and validate electronic products to ensure performance and reliability
- Carry out fault finding and root cause analysis using appropriate tools and techniques
- Research and evaluate new components and technologies for future development
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date technical documentation
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience within an electronics or manufacturing environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Experience with PCB design and testing is highly desirable
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
