Data Protection Lawyer (3–6 PQE)

A leading UK law firm is looking to hire a Data Protection & Privacy Associate (3–6 PQE) into its growing team in the firms London office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-quality, often high-profile data protection matters, advising a broad client base across financial services, insurance, healthcare, and tech.

The Role

You’ll get a mix of advisory and contentious work (increased focus on AI advisory work) with real responsibility and client exposure from day one.

You’ll be advising on:

• UK GDPR compliance and data protection frameworks
• Data breaches, incident response, and regulatory investigations
• Commercial contracts and data protection clauses
• Data subject rights, internal governance and International data transfers

This will service sophisticated clients (multinational corporations), largely in regulated sectors, in the insurance, financial services, retail and real estate sectors.

About You

• You will be a 3–6 PQE Lawyer with solid data protection / privacy experience, gained from a leading private practice firm or an in-house role
• You will be UK qualified, with a strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and experience handling data breaches and client advisory work
