About the team

The RELX Corporate Strategy team functions as an internal consulting team working closely with our businesses – LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Elsevier, LexisNexis Legal, and RX – to enable and guide the development of robust, long-term value creation plans.

About the role

We are looking for an analytically and intellectually driven individual, team player and self-starter with excellent communication skills to join the RELX Corporate Strategy team. This role has an excellent track record of migrating people into commercial and leadership roles within our businesses and provides significant exposure to and opportunities to influence senior executives and the strategic direction across multiple business segments.

This role will be based in our headquarters in London, with occasional international travel to our various global offices for project meetings and workshops. The role reports into RELX Chief Strategy Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy engagements, structuring problems, conducting analysis, and developing actionable recommendations
  • Partner with senior team members and business stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives across RELX’s portfolio
  • Develop insights on market trends, emerging technologies (including AI), and their implications for RELX businesses
  • Create clear, decision-oriented materials for senior leadership, including Board and investor presentations
  • Foster a collaborative RELX‑wide strategy community, leading forums to share insights and creating networking opportunities across all RELX businesses.
  • Support knowledge sharing and best practice development across strategy, product, and commercial topics

Requirements

  • Have proven experience in strategic consulting with a top strategy firm.
  • Have an advanced educational background.
  • Be an exceptional qualitative and quantitative analytical thinker with outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Be able to manage varied projects simultaneously and work effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Be able to think strategically and tactically while paying attention to detail
  • Be a problem solver who can think creatively
  • Be internally-motivated, positive, enthusiastic and self-starting
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and a cooperative working style.
  • Be able to communicate and lead projects in multi-cultural, multi-national environments
