Role

Agricultural Engineering Lecturer (full‑time or part‑time). Reporting to the Assistant Curriculum Manager – Agricultural Engineering.

Hours: up to full‑time (37.5h per week). Salary: up to £35,496 plus industry enhancement (pro‑rata for part‑time).

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment for agricultural engineering students, supporting them to maximize their potential and make positive progress towards timely success, further study and employment.

• Inspire and motivate students through industry and technical expertise, contributing significantly to the success of vocational programmes and learners’ future careers.

Qualifications

• Degree or Level 3 qualification.

• Up‑to‑date advanced technical knowledge and skills in agricultural, horticultural or land‑based machinery.

• Prior teaching experience and qualifications or experience working with apprentices or students in a workplace is desirable.

• New graduates are welcome; a recognised Level 4–6 teaching qualification may be achieved through our in‑house teacher training programme.

• Professional, hardworking, confident team‑player passionate about teaching.
