Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Attendance Officer to join our fantastic team at Chorlton High School.

Chorlton High School is seeking a dedicated and resilient Attendance Officer to play a key role in improving attendance and engagement across the school. This is a vital position, working closely with pupils, families, school leaders and external agencies to remove barriers to attendance and ensure every child can access a high‑quality education.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children, young people and families within education, social care or community settings, together with a strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection and relevant legislation.

This is a permanent post, working 35 hours per week during term time plus one additional week. The starting salary is £28,507, with a full‑time equivalent of £33,143 (Grade 6).
