Overview
We are looking for a National Account Manager to join our Commercial team. Reporting into our Head of Commercial & Trade Marketing, the role focuses on establishing, building and nurturing strategic retailer partnerships, identifying new commercial opportunities, and negotiating best-in-class support to optimise the brand in stores and online.

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships at all levels including Buying/Trading, Merchandising, and Marketing, to ensure Trinny London achieves strong voice, visibility and exposure.
- Lead and support commercial negotiations on terms, pricing, distribution, online real estate and marketing support packages with Buying and Merchandising teams.
- Develop a thorough understanding of retail context and category performance to identify opportunities and strategic needs.
- Fully own retail sales forecasting for the region/retailers, meet financial deadlines and budget submissions, and flag risks and opportunities with timely, quantified insights.
- Deliver 360 plans to drive top ranking in categories and locations.
- Understand the shape of each account P&L, balance Trade Marketing investments with top-line opportunities, monitor retailer profit contribution and achieve agreed profit.
- Remain agile to respond to retail trends and maximise opportunities across retailers.
- Monitor, manage, and optimise performance.
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing, Visual Merchandising, PR, and Ecomm to create and deliver an annual plan for each retailer covering launches, marketing moments, events, retailer animation, and both customer acquisition and retention; review implementation and performance regularly.
- Engage senior stakeholders; keep wider teams informed of retail activity and decisions with a clear commercial rationale.
- Build strong relationships with Retail teams, translating field insights into commercial growth.
- Be a visionary and foster excitement about possibilities through effective collaboration.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager or National Account Exec, ideally within beauty/luxury/fashion with wholesale experience.
- Highly numerate, target-driven and commercially savvy.
- Solution- and ideas-driven, balancing risk with a growth mindset.
- Open to challenges and passionate about working in the beauty industry.
- Structured and organised, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Startup-friendly, hands-on, flexible and agile.
- Ability to formulate strategy and articulate the "why" behind business decisions with macro-level thinking.
- Commitment to learning and development; strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills; written and verbal.
- Proven experience in negotiating.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
