In 2023, Computershare went live on Oracle Fusion ERP platform, which aligned with the financial strategy of standardising practices within the group.

In 2026 we will be migrating our balance sheet reconciliations to the Fusion ARCS platform (Oracle). This role will support the final stages of the standardisation, quality control and optimisation of our balance sheet reconciliation process across the Group and evidence presentation.

A role you will love

In this post you will support the Group and Regional Financial Controller as well as the Interim Balance Sheet Accounting Manager by performing quality checks on global balance sheet reconciliations performed and reviewed by the relevant teams.

You will look for instances where the balance sheet governance framework is not being fully followed and support the accounting teams in enhancing their processes and controls, with the goal of ensuring we migrate good quality reconciliations to the ARCS platform.

Collaborating with Financial Control (FC), Transactional Accounting (TA), Tax and FP&A you will review high risk / material balances and enhance evidence preparation under IFRS including advising of where any opportunities exist regarding balance clean‑ups and releases. Additionally, this role will be supporting our reconciliations globally, and there will be a recurring need to work with colleagues in North America, Australia and Europe.

The Balance Sheet Quality Manager will posses and ability to understandexecute and improve accounting finance processes. They will have obtained a strong knowledge of the financial reporting requirements needed for a global company under IFRS framework and experience of managing and resolving financial and compliance issues.
