Job Title: Family Time Worker
Working Pattern: Part time, 22.5 hours per week, flexibly over 5 days between 9:00 am and 6:30 pm. Weekend work may be required on a rota basis.
Salary: £18,258 – £19,823
Location: Lincoln, St Giles/Warren Family Centres

About the Role
Manage family time sessions between children and their parents or family members when the children are subject to court proceedings and are no longer in parental care.
Supervise and facilitate positive interactions, promote child safety and welfare, and record accurate reports after each session. Collaborate with parents, professionals and the wider support network to model and advocate high‑quality family time. Maintain awareness of safeguarding and child development principles, attachment, separation, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support families during allocated time periods.
- Document session outcomes, observations and any safeguarding concerns.
- Work in partnership with parents, officers and other professionals to promote children’s best interests.
- Travel across various locations to conduct sessions; maintain a valid driving licence and suitable vehicle.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a related equivalent.
- Good IT skills and keen to produce formal reports.
- Demonstrated understanding of child development, attachment, separation and risk management (desirable).
- Valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for travel between sites.
