Job Title: Programme Manager
Location: Northampton
We are seeking an experienced AWS Program Manager to lead and govern large‑scale cloud transformation initiatives across the enterprise. This role will be responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of AWS programs including cloud migration, modernization, security, cost optimization and platform enablement while ensuring compliance with Barclays risk, regulatory and security standards.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise‑scale AWS programs including cloud migration, modernization and DevOps enablement initiatives.
- Define and manage program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks and success metrics across multiple workstreams.
- Establish and enforce AWS governance, security and compliance frameworks aligned to Barclays risk and regulatory standards.
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships, providing clear executive‑level reporting on progress, risks and financials.
- Oversee cloud financial management including budgeting, forecasting and cost optimization (FinOps).
- Coordinate delivery across Agile teams, vendors and global delivery partners.
- Drive continuous improvement through cloud best practices, reusable patterns and operational excellence.
Your Skills:
- 8 to 12 years of experience in Program / Project Management.
- 45 years leading AWS or cloud‑based transformation programs.
- Strong working knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.
- Experience in banking, financial services or regulated enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile, SAFe and hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
