Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an established Project Manager to join our fast‑growing agency. You will drive and develop projects and accounts and be fundamental to the business and its continued success.
We are seeking to expand Opinium’s Project Management Team. This role will support our ambitious growth plans by establishing and driving efficient project management operations, primarily for our U.S. office in New York City.
As the first Project Manager supporting the U.S. team, you will provide a lead role in driving major team‑wide and company‑wide initiatives that drive growth and success.
This role requires non‑standard UK hours (10:00‑6:30 AM or 10:30‑7:00 PM) to support U.S. project work and time zones. Hours may be flexible within a single day as needed.
Responsibilities
Your role is vital to the smooth running of planning and delivery of projects. Key responsibilities include:
- End‑to‑end management of national and international projects, from proposal development through to closure.
- Assess project feasibility, provide cost estimates, and create project plans and timelines for new business proposals and live projects.
- Identify opportunities for procedural and financial efficiencies during the project lifecycle.
- Maximise financial performance across projects, ensuring costs are minimised.
- Conduct project reviews to capture lessons learned and recommend future improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular status updates.
- Grow and manage relationships across our partner network.
- Contribute to wider operational and project‑management initiatives.
Skills and Qualities
Must have
- 4–5 years of project‑management experience in a market‑research environment.
- Strong track record of managing both quantitative and qualitative research projects.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self‑starter with a proactive attitude.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Confident budget management.
- Experience in client management and strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and market‑research software).
- Bonus: Experience managing junior colleagues, working with international teams, and line‑elevated responsibility.

Education & Experience
- Strong academic record.
- 4–5 years of project‑management experience at a market‑research agency.
