Pharmacy Technician – Education and Training

We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician who specialises in Education and Training and shares our vision to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Organise and deliver Medicines Management Training to all pharmacy staff.
- Support the Principal pharmacist for education and training on the delivery of ongoing clinical pharmacy training for junior pharmacists and Foundation Trainee Pharmacists.
- Be responsible for the training and initial induction of all new staff on all aspects of the dispensary.
- Train and assess Foundation Trainee Pharmacists, Medicines Management Pharmacy Technicians, Pre‑registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Technicians, nursing staff and other health care professionals in the medicines management process.
- Collaborate with the Health and Safety Assessor to support risk assessments and training.
- Support the training programme for undergraduate and work‑experience students.
- Participate in the education and training strategy group to decide short and long‑term plans for education and training within the pharmacy department.
