About the role
Edgewood Primary School in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire is looking for a Midday Supervisor to join a friendly and committed team. This permanent, Grade 1 position is for term‑time only, working 10 hours per week (2 hours per day).
Key responsibilities and requirements
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and use positive behaviour management to encourage and promote excellent behaviour.
- Be kind, sympathetic and want the best for all children.
- Be IT literate to input information onto the school information system (after training).
- Communicate effectively with children and all other staff, including fellow midday supervisors, teachers, TAs, office staff, kitchen staff and school leadership.
- Keep information confidential.
- If you are a parent of a child at the school, you must be able to maintain total confidentiality within your role and separate that role from your parental role (assurance requested at interview).
The school provides training on behaviour, safeguarding and other areas to support your development.
The school has a thorough commitment to safeguarding and will expect all candidates to share this commitment and agree to all relevant checks and procedures.
