Deputy Children’s Home Manager – EBD Service

Location: Oadby. Salary from £40,000 per annum. Full-time | Permanent (mix of admin, shifts & sleep‑ins). Interviewing ASAP.

We are recruiting for a motivated and experienced Deputy Children’s Home Manager to join a well-established provider in Oadby.

This role offers the choice of working within a 3-bed or 4-bed EBD home, giving flexibility to suit your experience and preference.

This is a great opportunity for a strong Senior or existing Deputy looking to develop within a supportive environment.

The Role

• Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
• Work a balanced rota of admin duties, shifts, and sleep‑ins
• Help deliver high-quality care to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
• Lead shifts, supervise staff, and support team development
• Assist with care planning, safeguarding, and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and care standards
• Promote a safe, structured, and nurturing environment

About You

• Experience within children’s residential care
• Strong understanding of EBD and safeguarding practices
• Experience supervising or leading staff teams
• Level 3/4 in Children & Young People (or working towards)
• Confident leadership skills and ability to support operationally
• Passion for improving outcomes for young people
