Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Systems Specialist to join our Implementation Services organisation in the United Kingdom. The role is remote, but must be based within the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with team members on national and international customer projects, sharing knowledge and collaborating across teams.
  • Consult with direct customers and M‑Files partners on project requirements and business processes.
  • Support customers in developing and refining their business processes using M‑Files.
  • Define business requirements with the customer and plan system design based on those requirements.
  • Select appropriate implementation methods with scalability and maintenance in mind, ensuring high customer value throughout the solution’s lifecycle.
  • Participate in the continuous development of implementation practices.
  • Demonstrate a consultative approach and strong communication skills while working effectively in a project‑based environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in various integrations between IT systems.
  • 5 years of consulting experience.
  • Experience working directly with customers.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand customer requirements.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. (or equivalent) in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related technical or commercial field.
  • Understanding of software development and how programming can be utilized in implementations (C#, JavaScript, HTML).
  • Readiness to travel domestically and abroad.

Additional Competencies

  • Knowledge of various IT systems and databases.
  • Experience in corporate IT infrastructure (Windows Server, databases, network infrastructure).
  • Familiarity with other technologies: M‑Files, Windows, Azure, SQL Server, .NET.
  • Experience with document management systems.
  • Experience documenting specifications and using related tools (e.g., MS Office).
