Overview
We are a 12-year-old cafe/deli that takes great pride in serving delicious, healthy food to our loyal community. We are in search of a dynamic culinary professional with stellar cooking skills and an operations mindset.
Responsibilities
In this role you will wear multiple hats including prep and line cooking, recipe development, front counter support, purchasing and receiving, and general operations support. There is great potential for growth and development for the right candidate.
- Receiving/ordering product including organizing deliveries
- Providing excellent customer service
- Daily food prep/creating specials
- Monitoring social media accounts
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a professional kitchen
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Strong knife skills
- Food safety and proper food handling skills
Additional Benefits
- Experience with social media management and content creation
- Knowledge of a POS system (Square preferably or something similar), or the ability to quickly learn
- Computer literate – basic skills required
- Knowledge of operating an espresso machine or willingness to learn because you like coffee

- Previous experience in operations in related field
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong leadership qualities
Company Description
We are a small, well established restaurant located near Brighton Center, across the street from St. Elizabeth's hospital and the police station. Our current hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 8-4.
