Are you a passionate educator looking to make a genuine difference in an Alternative Provision setting? We are currently seeking a dedicated Tutor or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Burnley for an immediate start.

The Role at a Glance

• Position: 1:1 Tutor / HLTA
• Setting: Alternative Provision (On-site)
• Location: Burnley
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full-time)
• Daily Pay: £121.89 - £145.89 (Based on experience)

What Makes This Role Different?

Unlike traditional classroom roles, you will be working on a 1:1 basis with pupils. You will have the benefit of your own dedicated classroom space on-site, allowing you to create a tailored, low-pressure learning environment that meets the specific needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering personalised learning sessions to engage students with complex needs.
• Building strong, trusting rapport to support both academic and emotional growth.
• Managing your own classroom environment to ensure a safe and productive space.
• Collaborating with the wider school team to track progress and well-being.

Who We Are Looking For

We need someone resilient, empathetic, and adaptable. Whether you are an experienced HLTA or a Tutor with a background in SEN/SEMH, your ability to connect with "hard to reach" learners is what matters most.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational or alternative setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills and a patient approach.
• Reliability to commit to a full-time, Monday-Friday schedule.
