SEMH Secondary Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting an experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a specialist provision based in central Bristol. This role is ideal for someone confident working with vulnerable young people requiring both outreach support and 1:1 intervention.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Supporting students during outreach and enrichment activities in the mornings.
- Providing 1:1 support in the afternoons, tailored to individual SEMH needs.
- Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with students.
- Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with SEN/SEMH students.
- Experience with secondary-aged learners.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Two professional references covering the last 2 years.
- UK driving licence with access to a car and business insurance.
- Ability to start immediately.
