We are a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in South Oxfordshire. Technology plays a central role in our operations, and we are looking to expand our IT team with a motivated and enthusiastic entry-level IT Support Engineer.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start a career in IT within a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing environment. You will provide first-line technical support to internal users, ensuring systems, hardware, and software run smoothly across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to staff across the organisation
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Assist with user account management (e.g. onboarding/offboarding, password resets)
- Support IT infrastructure, including printers, servers, and network equipment
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset registers
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT team members when required
Requirements
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technology field
- Strong interest in IT support and infrastructure
- Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking concepts
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on-site in South Oxfordshire, 5 days per week
Desirable Skills (Not Essential)
- Previous internship or work experience in IT support
- Familiarity xwzovoh with Active Directory or ticketing systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing or industrial environments
