Science Technician (Full-Time, 5 Days per Week)Location: Lambeth, South London

A vibrant and welcoming secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Technician to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong background in science to play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning.

The RoleAs a Science Technician, you will work closely with the science department to ensure the smooth running of practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Your responsibilities will include preparing and setting up equipment, maintaining laboratory resources, and ensuring health and safety standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and clear away materials and equipment for practical science lessons
• Support teaching staff during experiments and demonstrations where required
• Maintain and organise laboratory stock, equipment, and chemicals
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Assist with ordering and managing resources within the department

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge across one or more scientific disciplines
• A relevant degree is preferred
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently xwzovoh as well as part of a team
