Our client, a Greater Manchester council, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join their LD Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Carry out person-centred assessments to identify needs and plan support.
- Take on safeguarding responsibilities to protect vulnerable individuals.
- Work closely with other professionals to ensure joined-up support.
- Apply knowledge of key legal frameworks including:
- Mental Capacity Act (MCA)
- Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
- Court of Protection (CoP)
- Complete paperwork for DoLS, CoP, and court statements.
- Work independently, managing your own caseload.
- Undertake MCA assessments across a range of situations.
- Be ready to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
