What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting KS2 classrooms across South Bristol, Bath and Keynsham
• Providing additional SEMH and SEN support where needed
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and stay engaged
• Building trust and positive relationships with children aged 7 to 11
• Managing behaviour calmly, consistently and with empathy
• Creating a safe, focused and purposeful learning environment
• Responding to challenges with a clear head and a safeguarding-first mindset
• Feeding back to teachers and raising any concerns appropriately

About you:

• You genuinely care about children’s wellbeing as much as their learning
• You’re calm, patient and able to read the room when things feel unsettled
• You’ve got experience supporting children or young people, especially those with SEMH or SEN needs
• You’re confident communicating clearly and building rapport quickly
• You’re passionate about helping children feel understood, not just managed
• You hold a degree or have equivalent experience working with young people
• You’re willing to go the extra mile and make a real difference
