Senior Engineer / Field Service Engineer - £45,000 – £65,000 per annum + company van (field role) + benefits package
Location: Glasgow Area
We are partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing engineering company at the forefront of sustainability technology. Specialising in advanced reverse-vending machines and deposit-return solutions, this organisation is playing a key role in reducing waste and driving environmental change across the UK and beyond.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they are seeking both a Senior Engineer and a Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities
Senior Engineer:
- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of advanced mechanical and electronic systems
- Take ownership of product lifecycle from concept through to production
- Work closely with R&D teams to innovate and enhance system performance
- Analyse technical challenges and implement robust engineering solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
Field Service Engineer:
- Carry out installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machines at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
- Provide technical support and training to clients where required
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service delivery
- Travel to various locations as part of the role
Shared Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and customer support
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of work carried out
What We’re Looking For
Senior Engineer:
- Strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Proven experience in product development, ideally within automated or electromechanical systems
- Ability to lead projects and influence technical direction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Field Service Engineer:
- Hands-on experience with industrial or electro-mechanical equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Comfortable working independently xwzovoh in the field
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
