SEND Teaching Assistant – Cannock

Start Date: April

Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Do you have experience supporting pupils with SEND or a strong desire to develop your skills in a specialist setting? We are recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a well-established SEN school in the Cannock area, offering full-week availability.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is caring, adaptable and committed to helping children achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Support students with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and complex learning needs).
• Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning plans.
• Assist pupils with classroom tasks, personal care (if required) and emotional regulation.
• Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Promote independence, engagement and confidence in all pupils.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years. xwzovoh
