Cover Supervisor’s Needed:

Location – Portsmouth

Secondary Schools | Flexible Work

We are recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Portsmouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in education who are confident managing a classroom and supporting students’ learning.

The role:

• Supervising pre-set lessons in the absence of the teacher
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Keeping students engaged and on task
• Supporting a safe and positive learning environment

We’re looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working in the education sector (schools, colleges, SEN, or youth work)
• Are confident, professional, and reliable
• Have strong behaviour management skills
• Understand safeguarding and school expectations

Non-drivers welcome – Portsmouth is well known for its excellent public transport links, making this role ideal even if you don’t drive.
