Job Title: Senior Residential children’s Support Worker

Reports to: Registered Home Manager

Place of Work: Mickleover, Derby

Salary: £30,700 (unqualified) – £36,940 (Inclusive of sleep-ins)

We are delighted to be opening a 2 bedded Ofsted registered, trauma informed home, in the quite suburb of Mickleover, Derby. Job Overview

As a Senior Support Worker, you have the chance to develop your therapeutic management skills, supporting Support Workers, peers and children develop safe and nurturing relationships, role modelling therapeutic parenting/trauma informed practice and contributing to the overall management of the home, in both a regulatory and practice way.

To be eligible to apply for the role, you must demonstrate experience of working with children and young people who have been exposed to traumatic experiences and communicate this through challenging behaviour. You will have achieved a level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or be working towards) and be prepared to work a roster system including sleep overs. xwzovoh

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Derby DE3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

NVQ L3 or a QCF L3 in children and young people (required)

At least 1 year continuous children residential care experience
