Food Technology Teacher – Start ASAP | Peterborough
IC Talent is currently recruiting for a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join a well-regarded school in Peterborough, starting as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher—male or female—who is enthusiastic about delivering engaging, practical lessons and inspiring students to develop essential life skills through food and nutrition.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages
- Teach a broad curriculum including nutrition, food preparation, and safety
- Encourage creativity and independence in practical cooking sessions
- Maintain a safe and well-organised kitchen/classroom environment
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Food Technology or a related subject
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for food education and student development
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
