The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.Location: Borough Market, SE1Salary: £48,000 £52,000A critically acclaimed Sri Lankan restaurant in the heart of Borough Market is hiring a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and run the kitchen day-to-day.The restaurant is single-site, founder-led, and built around an authentic Sri Lankan menu fresh produce from the market on the doorstep, regional cooking techniques rarely seen at this level in London, and a published cookbook that anchors the brand. Press coverage and bookings have been strong since opening.The roleYou’ll run the pass during service, lead section chefs, own prep standards and consistency, and step up in the Head Chef’s absence.
