Academics Ltd are supporting a well-regarded secondary school with a thriving sixth form in Swindon that is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated students and contribute to strong academic outcomes at both KS5 and lower key stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS5 (A-Level), with some teaching at KS3 and KS4.
- Prepare students for A-Level examinations, supporting them to achieve their full potential.
- Differentiate lessons to challenge high-attaining students while supporting all learners.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively.
- Create a positive, engaging, and academically focused classroom environment.
- Contribute to the wider Maths department and sixth form provision.
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths at KS5 (A-Level) is highly desirable.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education.
- Ability to stretch and challenge high-achieving students.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
