We’re working closely with a number of secondary schools across Wakefield who are looking for Cover Supervisors and Classroom Practitioners to support with day-to-day supply. Whether you’re building experience, returning to education, or prefer the variety that supply brings, there’s plenty of opportunity to get stuck in.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervising classes during teacher absence using pre-set lesson plans
• Maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom environment
• Supporting students to stay engaged and on task
• Working across different subjects and year groups, no planning required
• Being a calm, reliable presence in busy school settings

What we’re looking for

• Experience working with young people, in schools or similar settings
• Confidence managing a classroom and building quick rapport
• A flexible, reliable approach to daily supply work
• A genuine interest in supporting secondary-aged students
