Year 4 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly primary school in the Plymstock area. This long-term position is available until July and involves full teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation, and marking. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing a classroom and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Teach a Year 4 class full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, and assessment.
- Establish and maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment.
- Work closely with school staff and senior leaders to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4.
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule until July.
- Confident classroom presence with high expectations for both behaviour and learning.
