English Teacher (Permanent)
Cambridgeshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full Time, Permanent Salary: £33,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
REED Education is proud to be working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Cambridgeshire to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for a permanent role starting September 2026.

The Role:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages (KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Inspire a love of literature and language in students of mixed abilities
- Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and department
- Work collaboratively within a supportive and experienced English team
The Ideal Candidate:
- Ideally QTS (or working towards it), however strong unqualified teachers will also be considered
- A genuine enthusiasm for English and education
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to raising attainment and maintaining high standards
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
